Today sees the final day’s racing at Ayr before our award-winning ground staff get the track ready for 2 days of top-class jump-racing at our Coral Scottish Grand National meeting in April.

Local trainer Mike Smith and his teenage son Ben had a double together on this card last year and notably, the winner, second and third in the bumper (National Hunt Flat race) run on the 2024 card have all gone on to win over hurdles in this current season.

We reckon eagle-eyed punters are sure to be able to pinpoint some stars of the future throughout today’s racing.
